Synopsis
After Joe's mother dies he and his father find themselves coping alone after moving to a remote new village. In the tradition of British landscape films, James Shaul is JOE a boy who won't give up on life even as his family life falls apart. The cast includes veteran UK character actors Gregory Floy(from UK TV's 'Emmerdale') and Tracey Wilkinson ('Bad Girls'). The screenplay is by actor Rod Arthur ('Prime Suspect'). The soundtrack features original music from the UK's hip 'The Little Unsaid' and New Zealand's 'Tiny Ruins'. World-renowned cinematographer Christopher Doyle HKSC frames the harshly beautiful landscape of the UK's Northumberland region and the film is Directed by Simon Pitts.
